DANIELLE AMELING

Junior Creative

Danielle graduated from Grand View University in 2009 with a degree in Graphic Design and an emphasis in Visual Art and joined the Deksia team as a graphic designer in 2010. Her accomplishments include designation as an Iowa Emerging Artist at the 2009 Des Moines Arts Festival; Editor in Chief of ALT Magazine — winner of the American Collegiate Press Pacemaker Award; and Art Director of the winning team in the Iowa Crossroads Marketing Competition. The minutia of typography and the smell of ink and paper keep Danielle constantly working on some sort of design project. Whether it is on the computer or using her vintage Nolan printing press, design is a constant in her life. She also enjoys painting and drawing. Additionally, Danielle has a passion for music (including album design) and owns far too many records.

JEREMIAH ELBEL

Jeremiah is a freelance graphic designer and visual artist whose work has been recognized internationally in many private collections, museums, and galleries. He resides in Des Moines, Iowa with his wife, Devan, and their two children, Aislen and Cohen.

SHANTEL VANDERGALIEN

Copywriter

Shantel graduated from Calvin College in 2004 and accepted a position as an English teacher for Wyoming Public Schools. She then earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Michigan State University. She and her husband, Aaron VanderGalien, recently had their first child, Darby Claire.

Jesper graduated from Copenhagen Business School in 1997 and became an accomplished developer, offering his clients strong leadership, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. His company was founded over five years ago, establishing numerous relationships with key partners worldwide.
