Roles:
Role 1: Develop and oversee a comprehensive photo/video content execution with clear expectations
- Summary: Ensure projects meet the client's expectations for larger goals while promoting collaboration between agency departments through clear communication per each phase of a project.
- Responsibilities:
- Communicate necessary project updates to clients and team members
- Document key information for client approval at key project milestones to ensure alignment with expectations
- Competencies:
- Understanding of the production process from start to finish
- Clear and concise communication
Role 2: Technical knowledge of services
- Summary: This individual is responsible for managing the visual content production process, including photography and videography, to meet the agency's standards and client expectations promptly.
- Responsibilities:
- Communicating expectations to the client and team
- Creating, managing, & improving project workflows
- Managing a team of specialists
- Competencies:
- Minimum of 6 years of industry experience
- Technical gear knowledge to execute interviews, b-roll, and photography
- In-depth understanding of Adobe Creative products and DaVinci Resolve
Role 3: Strategic decision-making, recommendations, and timeliness of deliverables
- Summary: Strategic Decision-Making involves analyzing market trends, understanding client needs, and making informed choices about the direction of visual content production. The Director is responsible for identifying opportunities, assessing potential risks, and making decisions contributing to the agency's long-term success.
- Responsibilities:
- Educate employees and clients on recommended approaches
- Project decisions from sale to delivery
- Set and meet client expectations
- Competencies:
- Minimum of 6 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in project logistic planning
- Understanding of strategy and types of content placements available
- Accurate tracking of time and management of a specialist
- Problem analysis to be able to diagnose customer issues
Role 4: Talent Development & Education
- Summary: The director is responsible for fostering the growth and proficiency of the creative team while staying up-to-date on industry advancements. At the same time, it is essential to ensure that the team remains skilled, motivated, and adaptable to the dynamic landscape of visual content creation in the marketing industry.
- Responsibilities:
- Mentoring specialist in skillset growth
- Performance management
- Resource management
- Competencies:
- Minimum of 6 years of industry experience
- Understanding of project efficiencies for planning, shooting, and editing projects
- Feedback and communication skills
