Also, improvements can be costly – both financially and with time.  Basically, there are a multitude of reasons why you choose to not take a step forward*. * The first step is always the scariest.  Despite your reservations, change is probably exactly what you need.  Rebranding can bring to life the vision that you have been trying to fulfill.  If you want to be on top of your game, if you want to win against all competitors, then you need to take that first step.
