About the Role

Great marketing tells a great story. Our Content Writer knows how to tell it. We're looking for someone who brings narrative instincts to every format, from long-form thought leadership to a six-word social hook, and treats every piece of content as a chance to build something that performs.

 

Role 1: Execute Story-led Content, On Time and On Budget

Summary: Craft long and short-form content rooted in compelling narrative, writing that captures attention, builds trust, and serves the larger brand story across every format and platform.

Responsibilities

  • Write long-form content including blog posts, white papers, case studies, and website copy that lead with a clear narrative arc and audience-first perspective
  • Develop short-form copy for social media, digital ads, and email campaign that distills the brand story into its sharpest, most compelling form
  • Translate complex topics, products, or services into clear and engaging stories that resonate with target audiences
  • Conduct research to ground storytelling in accurate, relevant, and credible details for each client and industry

  • Exceptional writing ability with a strong instinct for narrative structure, pacing, and audience engagement
  • Ability to write with versatility across formats without losing the thread of the story

 

Role 2: Brand Voice & Narrative Stewardship

Summary: Own the consistency of each client's brand story ensuring tone, voice, and messaging remain cohesive and intentional across every content touchpoint.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all content deliverables reflect the client's established narrative framework and brand tone, from homepage headlines to nurture email sequences
  • Identify messaging gaps or inconsistencies and proactively recommend refinements that strengthen brand coherence
  • Partner with Account and Strategy to align content strategy with client goals, brand positioning, and evolving story arcs

Competencies

  • Deep understanding of brand storytelling, voice development, and long-term narrative strategy
  • Editorial precision with the ability to spot tone misalignment and correct it without losing the brand's authenticity

 

Role 3: Platform Adaptation and Distribution

Summary: Adapt and distribute brand narratives across digital platforms, writing content that is platform-aware, performance-driven, and always connected to the larger story.

Responsibilities

  • Write and optimize web content using SEO/AEO best practices
  • Adapt core stories and messaging for the specific conventions of each platform: LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, email, paid social, blogs, white papers and beyond
  • Support campaign planning by identifying how the brand narrative can be expressed across multiple channels in a cohesive, connected way

Competencies

  • Understanding of how a single story can be shaped differently for different platforms without losing its core meaning
  • Familiarity with SEO/AEO writing principles and digital marketing fundamentals

 

Role 4: Collaboration & Creative Partnership

Summary: Bring storytelling instincts into every team interaction, elevating campaigns through collaborative creative input and a shared commitment to narrative quality.

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in creative brainstorms, contributing story concepts, narrative angles, and copy directions that push ideas further
  • Work alongside designers and strategists to ensure visual and written storytelling are aligned and mutually reinforcing
  • Incorporate feedback from account teams and clients with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Share content trends, storytelling best practices, and creative inspiration with the broader team

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Passion for storytelling that extends beyond the written word into how ideas are presented, pitched, and refined as a team

 

Experience & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • 2+ years of professional copywriting or content writing experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment
  • Portfolio demonstrating range across formats with evidence of strong narrative voice and brand storytelling

Tools & Technical Skills

  • Comfortable working in content management systems (WordPress or similar)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Teamwork or similar)
  • Basic understanding of AP Style preferred
  • Ability to edit different types of copy for different use cases
